The recipient is the importer of record and is responsible for complying with all laws of the destination country.Ships From Korea is NOT responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees. These are collected by your specific country's customs authority.
* If a package is returned due to unpaid taxes or customs rejection, NO REFUND will be issued for shipping costs, and return fees will apply.
2. Service Scope & Liability
Buying Service
We act as a proxy buyer. We are not the seller or manufacturer. Our liability is limited to the correct execution of purchase and shipping. We are not responsible for manufacturing defects, but we will assist in communication with the seller.
Insurance & Compensation Limit
Standard Compensation: Up to $100 USD or declared value (whichever is lower) for loss during transit, provided the carrier admits fault.
Fragile Items: Glass, ceramics, and electronics shipped without our "Safety Packing" service are NOT covered for damage.
No-Compensation items: Perishable goods, prohibited items, and items lost due to wrong address provided by user.
3. Prohibited Items
Users must ensure their requested items are legal to import. If we identify prohibited items (e.g., Lithium batteries over limit, Flammable liquids, Drugs, Weapons) at our warehouse:
The item will be disposed of OR returned to the seller (if possible).
Domestic return shipping fee + $5 Handling fee will be charged.
If shipped and caught by customs, the item will be destroyed at your expense.
4. Storage Policy (Important)
Free Storage: 30 Days from the date of arrival.
Overdue Storage: $1.00 USD per day per package after 30 days.
Abandonment: Packages stored for more than 90 days without shipping request will be considered abandoned. We reserve the right to dispose of or liquidate these items to cover storage costs without notice.
5. Returns & Refunds
Domestic Returns (Item in Korea)
Returns are only possible if the seller accepts them. Fee: $5.00 Handling Fee + Domestic Shipping Cost.
International Returns (Item Delivered)
We do not accept international returns due to high shipping costs and customs complexities. In case of wrong item received (our fault), please contact support within 7 days.
Failed Delivery (Returned to Sender)
If a package bounces back to Korea due to "Unclaimed", "Wrong Address", or "Refused":
User pays Return Shipping Fee (Carrier charge) + Re-shipping Fee.
If the value of goods is less than the return fee, the carrier may destroy the package.
